  • Check out my backing tracks

  • @whoddaya Good question.

  • @TheEpicGREENMAN Yes it does, my fine Djentleman.

  • @RADIOACTIVEBUNY Meshuggah fuckin rules lol

  • How the hell are there ANY dislikes at all on this one?

  • Who's heard of the band Meshuggah?

Because that's how I got here... not exactly blues, lol. Then again, it's like comparing a pug to a wolf. Completely different, but if you go back far enough, you get to the same roots.

  • Just because blues is about getting the most out of very few notes, that doesn't mean all music should be. Its not as though Steve Vai is a failed blues guitarist who, try as he might, can't play slowly for the life of him. He's actually playing a different genre of music. Your comment seems a bit bigoted.

  • @AnthemicPolemic Steve Vai may have a self-indulgent style, and you may not like his music, but that doesn't mean he's not a serious guitarist or someone that appreciates his playing can't be a serious guitarist. I would have accepted "Steve Vai is not a blues guitarist" or "anyone that plays guitar hero doesn't take guitar seriously"..

  • this is a real good backing track to learn and jam on, cause it puts your own playing on spot. you can't hide behind a big fat production. thanks! ;)
