1991 Davis Cup fun with Jim Pugh

Recently found a dusty old VCR tape in a box and had it digitized...

it contained some ancient, happy memories of hanging with Jim Pugh in Newport, RI for a Davis Cup match against Spain in 1991. The US won 3-0, with John McEnroe beating Tomas Carbonel, and Brad Gilbert defeating Emilio Sanchez, while Jimbo and Rick Leach closed out the match with a straight set victory over Sanchez and Sergio Casal.

fyi the irritating rugrat interrupting Jim's practice session was 5 yr old Kevin McEnroe, while brother Sean and 1 mo old sister Emily hang with their mom Tatum, and Kim Gilbert.

And toooo funny that ESPN video'd me videoing the match... (@ 6 min 40 sec)

And how amazing is Mary Carillo... 20 years later and she hasn't changed a bit!
