Contrary to what some are saying on here I do not believe for a second that God "caused" this -- yes he did allow it. God loves us and wants only the best for us, however, he allows us all to exist in a world that is goverend by rules that he put in place. He never promised that bad things would not happen to us...just that he would love us through it all and that "all things work to the good for them that believe" -- the Chapman family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Her brother must feel horrible! But it was an accident so he doesn't need to feel bad, Bless the chapman family! I know they all are grieving! I will pray for their family.

@aMostlyLucid1 God knows when it is time for us to go home. He gives us that phonecall and tells us when it is time for us to go even if we are 5. We may not be ready to go.When we are taken from our family, our family are greiving over us. Maria Sue Chapmen was taken away from us too early.But she is gone from home but not from our hearts.This world is our temporary home, and someday whether we are 5 or 100 we will go home to be with our heavenly father. Rest In Peace Maria Sue Chapmen.

I love how close the family is with Christ and with each other...going through that is not easy :(

@MissDotti123 Not a twin, but another adopted daughter who is less than a year older than Maria...her name is Stevey Joy.

I went to see the Chapman family perform the other night... they were incredible. I could see it in Will's eyes that he still felt so terrible. They are such a talented, strong group of people. Maria was a precious, beautiful little girl, and she is with Jesus now. :)
