  • these smoking ads, make peeps from the past look really retarded! I mean really they're soo stupid

  • @SpamWarrior3000 candy cigarettes are still around yet. i just bought some a few months ago. the packaging looked like a marboro pack. i used to buy candy cigarettes all the time when i was a kid, always followed with a real cigarette too. i used buy cigarette for my dad when he sent me to the store. i bought my own sometimes too. the enforcement on kids buying cigs didn't get serious untill the late 90's. the store closed after it got in trouble for selling kids cigs 1 too many times.

  • ill smoke a big O alright. but i aint fuckin wit dem cigs

  • Men and women both love a smokin O!

  • @aegisofhonor At that time in Ireland, the question they asked on health surveys etc wasn't "Are you a smoker?", it was "Are you a non-smoker (less than 10 cigarettes a day)?"

  • As if smoking wasn't safe enough, just add the risk of leaning to far to one side and having your face sheared off by the force of 70 MPH worth of icy water, and YOUR GOOD TO GO!

  • Screw you "Truth" campaign smoking always looks cool!

  • back in the 1950s, around 80% of american men and 30% of american women smoked regularly. It often wasn't a matter IF you smoked, but what brand you smoked. Competition was fierce and every brand wanted to make sure you smoked their brand for life. So they'd come up with outrageous advertising like this to get you to think their brand was the best.

  • Duke Nukem approves of this ad!

  • @J3rEmY17 im doing a project for economics, and i guess back in the day commercials were up to a half hour long.
