Palm Pre Emulator: Palm OS Running Epocrates and Pandora

The Palm OS emulator for Pre was unveiled this week and Noah got a live demo of it in action. The emulator runs in a Web OS card which means you can run a Palm OS legacy app while doing other Web OS stuff - like Pandora - in the background.

Jeez, why is everyone prejudging this phone? I bet 90% of the people saying the Pre is "bad" don't even own one.

Unless you've held one , played with it for a fair amount of time, you have no right to complain or say that one is better than the other.

I agree, the iPhone is a great, fantastic phone, but you have to take in consideration the price, the fact it's revolved around entertainment and the fact being it's been out for 2 years (more FW updates).

All of this has gone way too far.

I've been with sprint for 4 years now, coverage isnt bad and ive had all thier phones and theyve all been mediocre but then this one came along and blew everything out of the water.

I have been with sprint for many years and from my personal experience sprint the coverage is great and there are no roaming charges, lower prices than at&t and verizon and has the palm pre which is a great phone go for it

yea like if u bought the pre and u really wanted the iphone though ur yearly bill with the pre would be a thousand dollars cheaper then iphone im savin up to get one and yess they do have great coverage i would get the pre u'd be impressed but if u don't believe me then go to like a sprint store and talk to some one tht wrks there or find a place where u cn try it out

Sprint is a great company in new york idk where you live but the coverage here is great, and the pre is a great phone but if u have more cash HTC touch pro all the way

Ok. So I don't have the Palm Pre, but I do have the Palm Centro from Sprint. The phone kinda sucks, but Sprint is AWESOME. The voice quality is just great. It's almost landline quality. Internet is fast, Voice quality is great, etc... etc.. I'm gonna get the Pre tomorrow, so i'll try 2 send you a messange on YOutube or whatever, & tell you what it's like..

Go to cnet. They compare the 3gS with the pre and the pre is faster. So maybe it is joke comparing them.
