im not gay but i hate homophoia and im a gay rights supporter. jimmy sommerville is a gd man and he is open about who he is without shoving down ppls throats which tends to irratate but he says it how it is and how ppl have suffered abuse from it and he even said smalltown boy is a reflection on all ppls suffering gay or straight from the life they were made to think were right wen its their choice. smart guy. x

Despite continued struggles in Europe and elsewhere, in the US we'll always be several hundred years behind Western Europe and Canada when it comes to civil rights, despite what our Constitution declares about the sanctity and dignity of individual rights and privacy above all government.

Bravo for Jimmy saying those things...and he is right. We in the Gay community have fought too damn hard with our lives and blood to allow anyone to take away the few rights we now have.
