I Wish I was In Dixie played by our banjo specialist, John Hooper. John plays this as an anthem to lost causes. It aches with loss and regret.

If I am not mistaken, States rights and autonomy were major issues -- how is that consistent with totalitarian ideology?

  • @YourProfessor But what H.T. is saying basicly that the World as we know it would have been very dark, if the US and CSA had departed.

  • @EuromanMovieReport Because he basically went out of his way to turn the C.S.A. into Nazi Germany. In all likely-hood the C.S.A probably would have fallen apart and then would have slowly been peacefully annexed by the U.S.A. But either way, we're dealing with speculation here so it's all rather futile.

  • @YourProfessor Well I have read Harry T, but who is to say he isn't right?

  • @EuromanMovieReport Someone has read too much Harry Turtle Dove.

  • Dixie would properly have into a Fascist Dictatorship eventuallly, so good thing it didn't survive.

  • Nicely done. Thanks.

  • @kayteekayful Radford!

  • this is the version I would use for T-191 Movie trailer....
