  • When I came here, the ringing was on a simulator. Some kind of foolishness involving meditation in the Cathedral, as I recall.

  • thanks for the person who disliked this to make the like bar look like a joint. us bellringers love ganja.

  • Another fantastic Whitechapel bell. I knew very well the bell hanger who installed these, His name was Bill Theobald. As a young bloke I spent a lot of my school holidays with my Dad a fellow bell hanger with Bill Theobald. I feel so lucky that I got to go to many places that the general public dont get to see.

  • This is a wonderful video. I am a beginner Change Ringer and I aspire to do what this group does.

  • If that's what the Ringing Master looks like, I want to move to Washington

  • did ypu hear them ring the steadman cater at Reagan's funeral?

    It was hypnotic.

  • Ringing is also a small world- I've rung with 2 of those people and I havent been to America. Ringing at different towers is part of the culture of ringing, and there are hundreds of societies and guilds of ringers that organise tours in different parts of England.

This video is great for explaining what ringing is, very well done!

  • Excellent
