Armed Police Batrider (Advanced Course - Stage 5 - 1.1mil)

Demonstration of the Highway stage, stage5 of Advanced Course. This stage is set as an interlude to the longer final two stages of Advanced Course, and therefore is low on Medals for scoring.

There are some traps in this stage however that can make or break a high score. One of which is the three pairs of helicopters. Since they drop Medals when specific parts are destroyed, many times players will have Medals dropping on opposite sides of the screen, resulting in broken Medal chains. Knowing how to approach each helicopter pair is key to maintaining your Medal values in this stage.

The blue hovertank also holds a free Extend, but you must destroy it when it has stopped at the end of the tunnel before the Rivals. It is difficult to get the Extend without use of a bomb, so do not rely on getting it every time.

Finally, on my strategies I purposely avoid the third Rival, Envy, who is the most difficult of the three. This results in lower overall scoring, but safer passage to stage6.

obtain a special shot and special option powerup, the details of which i forgot but i'm pretty sure they both involve dropping a multiple of 3 shot or option items (large shot and small shot are on the same counter)
