Those wondering who the dancers are - enter "smash your baggage" into search. Several Lindy enthusiasts have posted this vid or clips of it.

In fact this is mostly of interest to dancing fans today, very few of whom know who the musicians are, or probably care.

All I can say is WOW!

I'll bet these talented performers would be surprised to know that we are still watching and enjoying them in the 21st century. This is real talent that goes beyond time. Thanks for the post.

Who is the stride pianist briefly featured at 2:11, anybody know? Cliff Jackson used to play with Elmer Snowden in those days but I'm pretty sure that's not him on piano this time. Jackson's steady but rather clunky left hand is not in evidence. The third tune is "Black Maria".

Now THIS was entertainment! Not like all the electronic-prefab computer generated garbage today...
Entertainers like these should ALL be given a Congressional Medal, presented to their families.
