Iturbide

Don Agustin de Iturbide was the first leader of an independent Mexico. Previously he had served as an officer in the Spanish Royal Army in Mexico but eventually he advanced the Plan of Iguala calling for "unity, independence and religion". He finally won Mexican independence from the last Spanish Viceroy Juan O'Donoju and when no candidate for the throne could be found he was urged to accept the crown of Mexico as Emperor Agustin I. However, only several months later a coup was formed against him by a disgruntled former supporter (Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna) and Agustin abdicated and went into exile in Europe. When persuaded to return for the good of the people the government was tipped off ahead of time and he was executed shortly after landing on Mexican soil.

VEAN LAS IMÁGENES DE PADILLA. LAMENTABLE VER LA INGRATITUD Y EL OLVIDO DE LOS MEXICANOS POR EL "LIBERTADOR DE MÉXICO"; "EL DRAGÓN DE FIERRO"; "EL EMPERADOR"; "EL PADRE DE LA PATRIA MEXICANA".

Para el buen vecino de AztexWorld. El humano se puede pasar la vida estudiando y aún así no comprender nada. Agustín de Iturbide definió su posición desde el principio, pero, como militar al servicio del R. de España debió reservar sus ideales primeramente y después consolidar su fuero y fuerza, por lo tanto, él no cambió de bando como canalla, esperó el momento oportuno. En tal caso todos los independentistas fueron canallas por procurar un cambio y dar la espalda a España ¡Debes leer más!

Cada quien vive su propia version de la historia,para mi Iturbide en parte fue un canalla al cambiarse de bando solo por que queria conservar altos puestos,no por que quisiera la Independencia,estudien mejor Muchachos

En cambio hidalgo ni siquiera quería la independencia, se arrepintió cobardemente al final de su vida. Iturbide se cambió de filas para defender a la tierra donde había crecido, consumó nuestra independencia entrando a la ciudad de México triunfante y loado por la gente que gritaba en las calles 'Viva Iturbide Iº de México'.

Nacimos siendo la colonia más próspera de España, con un territorio que iba desde el Óregon en el norte hasta la frontera con la Gran Colombia en Panamá. Nuestra moneda, el peso de plata, circulaba legalmente en todo el continente americano y en las Filipinas hasta 1860, donde teníamos gran influencia. Nuestras ciudades: las más grandes, nuestros ejércitos: los mejores. todo se vino abajo en 80 años.... VIVA LA MONARQUÍA que debió de haber permanecido.
