This is a quick and dirty response to "Collin's Lab: Guitar pedal hacking with Arduino". I just got the Arduino hack working and felt excited to show what it can do. This is pretty amazing stuff.

Basically, I used a AD5206 100k Ohm Digital Potentiometer which has 6 separate digital potentiometers that can be controlled using Arduino. The AD5206 Digital Potentiometer can be found here: http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail&name=AD5206BN... . I used a Boarduino (Arduino Clone) which can be found here: http://www.ladyada.net/make/boarduino/ . The Boarduino is setup to work easily with a breadboard.

  • @Heretic5566 Thanks for the appreciation. I think Collin's idea is pretty cool. Next time I will make sure that the lighting is better, lol.
