  • pretty helpful! I am dealing with a tecumshe two stroke and do not see a return back to the tank. BAFFELED because there should always bne a return, I THOUGHT! Any help would be appreciated. matts2@live.com need some assistance, really bad.

  • @freshn2008 My guess is that you are working on a larger 2-cycle engine such as a snowblower engine. The larger 2-cycle engines will have a carburetor with a bowl. The bowl eliminates the need for the return line. On this type of carb there will be a fuel line feeding the carburetor and usually a single line to a primer.

    I hope this helps,

  • does the return line have to be fully submerged into the gas??? i am having a problem keeping my scooter running... it starts and runs for about 5 sec and then shuts off... i have no idea on what the problem is. can someone help me out on this? plz

  • @bosstweed429 The return line does not need to be submerged. It sounds like you are having some issues with a carburetor that is dirty or the internal components have deteriorated. Take a look at our videos titled "How to Rebuild a Two Cycle/Two Stroke Engine Carburetor" and "How to Clean a Two-Cycle/Two-Stroke Engine Carburetor".

    I hope this helps,

  • Great video, Will try & see if I can get my Mantis tiller to start now.

  • Have any tips to get the fuel line inserted into the fuel tank; especially the return from the primer bulb on a Poulan 2150, which is at the back of the tank?

Loved the video. Really well done!

  • This is very helpful! Thank you for posting your videos !
