WILL I RISE ?

This song was written fresh off vacation in Glastonbury CT. Not sure where it came from. One of those songs floating through the room while I was holding my guitar. Sitting on the couch on a Saturday morning before heading out to open Small Town Music. Had the capo on the guitar, started strumming some chords, started singing some words.... you song writers know what I mean. The first verse and chorus came that morning. The 2nd verse came that afternoon at the shop, and that was an influence on "I'm halfway down the afternoon". The intro/exit riff came late in the day. I sang it over and over and it just felt good to me. This is a song that can be interpreted in more than one way, and I like having some songs that are such. In hopes you Enjoy....
