On the night of the switch between 2007 and 2008: New Years Eve, Rotterdam and Veronica organised Europes biggest fireworks show. Too bad you can't see anything because of a lot of smog caused by fireworks and moisture.
But still it's amazing to see.
The sound quality isn't that good and the camera moves a lot. Keeping up your arms for like 10 minutes isnt really relaxing. I had to switch arms a lot. I tried to keep it stil as much as possible, but the music made me dance :P I couldnt help it!

it was a nice party,music,light,people everything, only except the fireworks after counting down,i didnt see whats any special out there up the sky,chinese can even make a panda image up there in the sky.

yes it was quite disapointing, the fireworks I mean. But i'm optimistic! We probably just saw 20% of it all because of the mist.

Well I can understand the mist but it was kind of predictable - winter + cold + near the sea ... the mist is very common there doesnt it ?

I dont think so. it's never been this thick! The mist was incredible. When I went home i could only see 5 meters in front of me. The rest had vanished beceause of the mist. if you check other video's of other new years eves hold in Rotterdam, you'll see that it's never been this bad. Mist is not that common in rotterdam as far as I know lol. Just a couple of times a year.

On my wat to the party at Maassilo I stopped there to see the fireworks. The price at the rthe doors was 130 euros (what the fuck) so I looked like many others from the outside near the bridge but the fireworks were lame lame lame as there was fog and you couldnt see anything but little bit of lights. It was freezing and I just cant understand how people spent the night like that.
At Maassilo it was great and warm.

the price should have been 8 euro's. But apparently only VIP tickets were left, which were 125 euro's. And you would probably be able to meet the DJ's and Kane (not sure about that though). And not to mention the launch of a new song of kane.
