Arranged by Kevin McSheffrey, this is another song that will be on the Four Quarter's CD. This tune was the first one they ever learned together as a group, and also the first song they ever competed with at a music festival, scoring them a first place finish. Written in 1935, it's one of the great oldies tunes that the 4Q love to perform! Enjoy, and leave us some feedback!

  • Very good

  • Beautiful, and highly oriignal. My first thought was, "Whoever heard of singing 'Lullaby of Broadway' sitting down? It's a tap dance tune. Stand up and move around a little." But the 4Q found something else in the song. They make it sound more like an actual lullaby. So thank you for showing us a different angle on this classic. (I agree that Sarah is stunning.).

  • They all look so stunning in this video, and in some others they look just completely different, especially the second in on the right. No offense, she looks stunning here but other times not. All amazing singers though :)

  • Hi there, this song is really beautiful and your performance as well!!! I have an arrangement here for three voices, it´s really nice. Now I need it for four voices and I saw that Kevin McSheffrey arranged it himself. Is it possible to get the notes/arrangement from you for our a capella group? Thanxx a lot for your response...

  • I was somewhat dismayed this song didn't make it onto their "A Pocket Full of Change" album. I love this rendition better then any I've heard! Perhaps it will appear on a future album? They do it so well and it deserves to be heard by all!! Beautiful girls!!!

  • The Four Quarters first CD, "A Pocket Full of Change" was released earlier this month by Crystal Ball Records. Almost everything sounds better in the studio.

  • @CHASxWILSON The low hit count: They say football is a game of inches. Likewise group singing may be a game of milliseconds. Each girl sings her part very well, but the group timing and blend seem to be just a hair off. I hear too much of individual voices and entrances. I don't know if it is because they were sitting rather than standing (Goldilocks while standing is more precise) or if someone was just tired. It is still a nice performance and a treasure for true fans of the group.

  • I am so amazed that this perfectly executed song has only 4000 views! I guess Four Quarters fans boil at different degrees. Nonetheless, I am glad that it will be on your CD. This song, as sung by you four, is destined to be a classic that will be enjoyed decades and decades from now. I suppose for now, your reward for this well sung song is to have sung it. As for the CD - the anticipation is delicious torment!

  • What a treat! Great song choice and perfect for your beautiful harmonies! Music has no boundries and you girls continue to keep an open heart to the muisc that moved so many people in generations past. Thank you so much for that. Any update on the upcoming C.D.? I cannot wait for it!
