You can buy something called "germaben" online. It's a preservative used in homemade beauty products. Using it will help your mixture last much longer.

I make and use this gel all the time and i love it! But i am concerned because i have heard some people say it is toxic to heat flaxseeds, but i haven't found anything that supports that. Have you heard anything?? Hope not because i would hate to lose this as a product because it is excellent! Thanx :)

I tried this and its AMAZING! It makes your hair so soft and healthy! But how did you strain all of the flaxseed out?? I used a strainer with... tiny holes and I still had some seeds get in my bottle.. Hmmm. lol
