@nicholask95 You might also check out the programs in sports medicine at some of the chiropractic colleges as well....they have some great programs at Logan College in St. Louis and at some of the others.
@Ronin6575 Ok thanks....I was looking into becoming a sports medicine physician and going to an osteopathic school that has this program. Thanks alot!!!
@nicholask95 D.O.'s are trained in the same way our MD's are trained and may by law, perform surgery and prescribe medicines. Most DO's no longer practice manual techniques or natural remedies.
@Nydracommander That is because they are doctors of osteopathic medicine and they practice in the same hospitals as do the M.D's. He is demonstrating a technique from 1918, which can still offer relief. Listen to what he says and if you understand English, you will get the picture.
Thanks Dr. Haman. I am an osteopathy student graduating this June, and I just tried this on my mother who has a terrible flu and had a lot of trouble breathing and it made a remarkable difference. Thank you.

@Ronin6575 Are D.O.'s allowed to prescribe medicine or give flu shots? I'm actually curious to know if they can do the same things as M.D's.

@TheAngryBum It doesn't supress a virus you idiot, it is for symptomatic relief in breathing!
