@kobe24bballking I tried a few unscientific tests with acetone and isopropyl alcohol. Ballpoint pens, such as bics, and papermate use dye- colored liquid. This is rather easily removed. The very nature of gel pens is the use of pigments which make gel pens much more resistant to alteration. I tried uniballs and non-uniballs, and for the most part stayed put. Only 1 pen became fuzzy, but in no way did it become removed.

@Ouclypse actually no numb nuts uniball is the only pen that does that . take a bic or papermate and pour bleach or acid or peroxide on it and it will come off . uniball ink will never leak drip or fade it is thge most durable ink know the man and it was invented by a bitchin rockstar from mars
