  • Nice swing. Would you mind if i posted it on my website?

    Thanks

  • @ratetheswing Yea! Go for it ! let us know your website's name....

  • one of the best amateur swings. tempo is solid. just wondering about the sway on the take back. is it ok to do that to get it started? i've been thinking about reverting my swing back to this movement.

  • @golfmaniac007 i've been making sure i transfer my weight to the back foor over the years and have developed the sway. Got stronger with time and the sway decreased, don't think i do it anymore !

  • Great looking swing!

  • wish i had that mutch consistancy

  • Cracking swing. Everything's connected, great tempo and posture.

  • such a nice swing !

  • Your swaying on your takeaway. Im sure you struggle some with consistency due to this but overall tempo looks good

  • great swing! your tempo is fantastic. The slower you are through your take away to the top of the back swing makes a quicker acceleration through the ball on the downswing. This is something you do really well :)

  • Too fast

  • @blazzaman. I'm deluded? What a joke. Post your swing. If you read my post properly youll find I said it wasn't perfect but natural. jim furyk has an awful swing but at impact square. The same as every other pro. He looks perfectly square to me. All you've done is show a little jealousy. Let it out blazzaman. Let it out. Oh and thanks for agreeing on everything I said. Technique is import but not the be all and end all. Please post your swing. I'm dying to see it. Which pro tour do you ply on.

  • ...perhaps it would be less pronounced with a quicker backswing. Try something for me: Stand up with your feet shoulder width and slowly shift your weight from left to right repeatedly, like one whole second between shifts. You'll have to sway to stay balanced. Now speed up. You'll notice that the faster you shift your weight, the less swaying is required, until at a brisk swing speed, almost NO lateral movement is needed to shift ALL your weight between feet. I hope this helps. Good luck.

  • ...drives, much of the movement was actually just before takeaway. The rest of the movement was done quite quickly, so as to make it more of a coiling onto the right side. The hips however, esp. right hip, stayed still and even moved to the left late in the backswing. What is important, IMHO, is that your spine achieves a pronounced tilt away from the target by the start of the downswing, i.e. head farther from target than tailbone. Your move to the right however, just seems a bit too much,...
