Requiem for Essex Mountain

A short I threw together with some of the pics I could find around the net.

The music is from the film THE NINTH GATE. From the first moment I heard this haunting theme, I could think of nothing else other than the sad feelings I had when roaming around the abandoned sanatorium at Essex Mountain in Verona, New Jersey.

NIce photography and music, I visited greystone years ago and was really freaked out by it, and when I had more courage to go back there was security keeping dumb kids like me out. Are any of the old abandoned New Jersey Hospital/Asylums still standing today?

Wow! One of the best abandoned videos I have seen yet. It is wonderful how you was able to show befores and afters. I hope you can continue in exploring other building in this way.

No. The county finished tearing this place down in 2002. The last building to go was the powerhouse, due to asbestes removal.
