TRINITY: The Dragon King

Part of a playthrough of TRINITY: Souls of Zill O'll.
This is the fight with the Dragon King.... the "super boss" of the game. It's an optional boss, not part of the main story. He's pretty easy to beat if you just turtle him with Dagda.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe mine was available near the end of the campaign... it could have been after. I basically just focused on the main story first though so I beat the game before I did it.

p.s. in case you were wondering there's a quest tied to it.... if you keep visiting the taverns and filling your journal you'll eventually run across a dragon king isle rumor that will open up that dungeon && mission.

No you do not. This quest can be accessed once you start Chapter 5. Just go to the Tavern in Lind-whatachmacallit and speak to everyone there, you should get the quest.

@dunski13 P.S. - I wish you could keep having him spawn and give different items each kill. This is my favorite fight in the game sadly lol. So maybe I missed it but can you get him to respawn or is it a one kill only type of thing? I stopped playing after I beat it and you can kill the dragon king before you beat the game just as an fyi.

I just beat the dragon king. My strategy was alot like this one except when he flys up and casts the blue orb that shoots lots of little energy balls, switch to areus and use the reflective skill. It damages the dragon king pretty nicely over time. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. I beat it with Areus 59, Dagda 58, Selene 58.
