Victorian Hotels LLC Sterling Hotel and Chanterelle Restaurant Close

**Please be aware that while this establishment was formerly associated with the Vizcaya Mansion, the current problems at the Sterling/Chanterelle are due to the new management which was in place as of 8/17/08 and are NOT in any way associated with the Vizcaya Mansion or Elizabethan Inns Inc.**

The Sterling Hotel and Chanterelle Restaurant plan to close by the end of the week. The establishment was managed by Victorian Hotels LLC, which consistently engaged in abusive and illegal labor practices, including issuing constantly late and bouncing paychecks, not having worker's compensation insurance, creating hazardous work conditions, misreporting wages and hours to the government, and intimidation of workers trying to resolve these issues.
