After a second look, there obviously is a public gathering in the area (look @ :21) or an area of "entertainment" interest. The first Citroen looks to park probably, not necessarily going through. Since there's nothing available on its side of the road, and spotting the ones where the van pulls out of, he just uses the other side of the street. Big whoop... miss twinkletoes...

Well Mr Carmatt, with the benefit of hindsight perhaps you are correct, in that yes, the car was most probably looking for parking, however, why not just continue around (and through the gap that was too small) to find his space? Maybe its because he was a male driver!! (Only kidding guys!)

The "gap" is enough wide for both portrayed cars to go through... I guess any village (in this case France) has its own idiot drivers. There are lots of people who don't deserve to privilege of sitting behind the wheel.

Thank you. However, I do feel, considering it was about the 5th car that had attempted to drive that way and reversed, the gap clearly wasn't big enough for the cars to go through, or one of them would have done it!
