13 years later. We haven't forgotten you WTO / G20 / IMF. Peace and love from SF, CA.

what is the DnB track in this video??
-
@wdonald2013 collective punishment, everyone weren't "disobedient" and still got shot/maced.
-
@wdonald2013 Have you watched all three parts of this video?
1. How is vandalism/property destruction violent? Last time I checked, buildings were inanimate objects.
2. If you watch the first video, the guy in front of the camera states that the police's equipment is purely for their own protection while they try to contain the situation. Organized protesters are not stupid, they know exactly how it works.
3. If police DID violate the constitution, they NEED to be held accountable.

if you're going to protest illegally and participate in violent civil disobedience in the united states then you should expect the police to use riot control tactics. these morons vandalize property and then cry about how they got pepper-sprayed or gassed. the police are just doing their jobs by protecting the people and property in Seattle. take some responsibility for your actions

@ZachHinsonCountry I think that burning the flag is very American. Being a member of the WTO takes away sovereignty. By America doing this shows loss of our freedom, therefore since America is not doing what it is supposed to do in theory, the symbol of the flag does not matter because the government does not stand for what the flag symbolizes
-
@ZachHinsonCountry That's a bit Hitlerian. The United States Constitution is the reason they had opportunity to make a statement that day. People need to salute the flag by choice not force. Democracy not fascism. I hope you repent and also study the history of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. The flag is a symbol of national unity, but our Constitution is the instrument of democracy.

@Ballsinger That's called job creation. Despite that I do understand their argument, property destruction is what allowed the city to declare martial law. Otherwise it was a lawful, Constitutionally protected protest. In mass protest, it is important that peace keepers (example, the people protecting Nike Town in this vid) challenge those who want to do property damage. Agent provocateurs are often sent by the opposition to do this as it gives excuse to clamp down on the protest.
LOL @ ppl "protecting nike town"
