@SLK320GTG i think manual transmission is the best way to drive every car (except s class or other really big sedans). I like to have the full controll over the car, and shifting is a part of dynamic driving for me. Because i want to shift up and down when i want and use the clutch then i want. But the new two clutch direct transmissions like DSG or PDK are really interesting. I think i will test it, when i have the chance. But Mercedes does need a bit of time until they bring a DSG

@SLK320GTG cuase some brands give less torque to their automatic cars because the gearbox may not stand too much torque, that's why sometimes I'd prfer a manual gearbox. I.e.: Gold TDI140 DSG has clearly less power than the manual version.

ja, unter 1,5tonnen ist kaum was zu kriegen. im slk ist aber auch zum teil der V8 schuld - den sollte man aber trotzdem nicht missen! :)

lediglich die 7G ist schrott ... ein manuelles getriebe wäre ein traum
