Survival on the streets is all about staying two steps ahead of the next man. Nobody knows that better than martial artist and self-defense expert Willie "The Bam" Johnson, who grew up on the mean streets of Baltimore. Johnson also knows that incorporating MMA training into your workout regimen is one of the best ways to prepare yourself for combat, whether it is on the street or in the cage. This video will get you ready for the reality of the no-rules street game. To begin, Johnson demonstrates rhythm drills designed to keep you on your toes so that you can anticipate instead of react to your opponent's moves. Next, he teaches you hand combinations and practical elbows stripped down to reflect the explosive violence of a street encounter.

Your street education concludes with a series of fight-stopping kicking combinations guaranteed to stop your opponent cold. This is a reality-based training and fighting system that will have you fully confident in the face of vicious street violence. Bonus materials include the use of improvised weapons and insightful interviews about life on the street, where there are no rules and you have to be ready for whatever happens.

  • Well I saw the rough copy and know that THE BAM is a legit martial artist. In society of martial arts today our young people need to educate themselves and be open minded.... when you are on the street there is no right way or wrong way - its try everything and have the will to survive and fight like hell. I am from the streets and have been attacked and I am going to tell you there is no right way or wrong way to survive - you better just fight like hell and this vid shows that!

  • @TheBamsFuYah Nicely spoken. Many of our authors address this "will to fight", ... which they have acquired and fine tuned through personal experience in various situations. Their knowledge is our power.

  • Please keep comments intelligent and on-topic so we all might learn as much as possible from different experiences.

  • I think after first elbow it would be done

  • damn never realized using an elbow in a fight could be so effective

  • this is legit. i don't have any street fight experiences but i've seen all these work in mma fights, so i would think they could work in a street fight. I would have had a hard time believing that a spinning back elbow would work, but Jon Jones makes them work all the time!!! lol

  • @Nica312 GUESS WHO? MASTER KIMBER!!!!!

  • @NeptuneKnives I dont like to fight unless it's necessary also I refuse to instruct the general public anymore.I only teach limited self defense to civilians & on some special cases will instruct most of everything but I don't like to because there is too much risk in whos learning & the kinda person they are morally

  • @TheBamsFuYah THATS RIGHT THEY WORK!!!!! I KNOW IT FOR SURE!!!!

  • Awesomeness! Nuff said!
