http://www.facelessfatloss.com "Obesogens," also known as Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals, or EDCs. There's now clear evidence that they may be contributing to very stubborn fat gain and could explain why so many people have trouble getting rid of not only large amounts of fat, but also those last ten pounds.

The White House Task Force on Childhood Obesity released a report called "Solving the Problem of Childhood Obesity Within a Generation," this past May and referenced this problem. Funny how all the alternative researchers have been discussing avoiding plastics and all forms of endocrine disruptors for years now, but no one takes it seriously until these kinds of ideas make the national news. "Then," all-of-the-sudden, it's a real issue that people will finally pay attention to.

Obesogens are natural and synthetic compounds including pesticides and plastics, and many of these chemicals work by mimicking estrogen. Common sense dictates we know that this could be a problem for men, but it clearly can also be an equally severe problem for women.

I've covered repeatedly how important it is to eat "organic-or-better" foods. You now have more reason than ever to make sure you do. Is it really worth saving the relatively small amount of money on standard foods over organic foods when the pesticides and hormones you're exposed to, on an on-going basis and building in your body, are now being fully identified as causing toxic and endocrine gland-impairing problems, one result of which could be fat/weight gain?

And regarding pastics, 93 percent of Americans have detectable levels of bisphenol-A (BPA) in their bodies, and 75 percent have detectable levels of phthalates. Both are synthetic chemicals found in plastics that mimic estrogen; they trick the body into storing fat and not building or retaining muscle.

SO: Never heat food in plastic containers or put plastic items in the dishwasher. This creates an opportunity for a leaching effect to occur, and you should not be using the microwave anyway if you've been paying any attention to what I teach. I haven't used one in about ten years.

Unfortunately our exposure to plastics is much larger than this, but I do not have adequate solutions at this time that I can pass along. So I will report on it when I do.

I will continue to preach about the importance of detoxification within the context of a health and fat/weight loss program, and present the evidence as it continues to mount. It will be common knowledge in the near future that quick-fix methods of fat/weight loss are worthless without an overall detoxification, on-going cleansing and health program in place. People want to look slim and sexy, characteristics often associated with great health, but are often unwilling to more seriously consider the connection as to how intertwined they actually are.

The magazine cover models who consistently look great, you can be sure, are living a lifestyle that incorporates an on-going detoxification program of SOME sort. Whether it be via their diet loaded with greens, colon cleansing, or sophisticated protocols involving oxygenation and blood cleaning, the end results are a reduction of the toxic load that their bodies, and of course fat cells, have been holding on to. I've made it clear that this is the kind of lifestyle I follow, and it has worked exceedingly well for me, and on multiple levels.

Thanks for watching!
