Can you tell me what type of litter you use? What's the best clumping litter for the litter robot?
I'm considering purchasing this since we are still on trial with the littermaid and it has not been very successful.
thanks! :)

I use the Littermaid Automatic Scoop Litterbox and it has been working fine for me.. seems faster but the poop tray is alot smaller and it fills alot faster... Also becuase it fills so fast I need 1 box per every 2 cats... This might be something ill upgrade to in the future! Thanks for the vid!

@eee4309 I've gone through every cat box out there. This uses half of the cat litter any other did. When it rotates it coats the pee or poo so that it does just that....save on litter. I don't use a bag in the bottom, because one got caught in the wheel that turns it and it caused problems. i just wash it once or so a month. Hope this helped

@heyeida The ball rotates so that the pee or poo can get coated in cat litter. After it does the clean litter goes into a compartment in the ball and the coated litter gets dumped into the drawerunder the ball. I have two of these and whoever invented these are pure genius. it is amazing! I never have to touch it, except to dump it once a week.
That's a good question. The excrement actually is like any other litter box where the cat covers it after they go. The ball then rotates coating it over and over again as it tumbles. The clean litter gets sifted into the housing at the top of the ball and the bad litter falls through the opening at the bottom once it is completely rotated.

@klaudz2006 I use Arm and Hammer for multiple cats. It will last about 2 weeks!
About once a week we dump the tray at the bottom. The litter robot will blink lights to let you know when the tray needs to be dumped. How great is that?
