  • Jerry looks so lively and happy here. The interaction between Jerry and Bobby is reminiscent of the early 80's when he was still engaging the entire band from the left side of the stage. The solo is completely on point.

  • @TNAisWWEv2, No offense to people who love the Grateful Dead, but I just don't get the appeal. I'll admit they were good musicians, I just find the music boring. But hey, that's just me. Ever heard Fleet Foxes? Can't imagine a Dead fan not liking them. Check out the official videos for "Grown Ocean", "Ragged Wood", "Mykonos", "Blue Ridge Mountains", the studio recordings, not live. Beautiful, amazing music. They are my favorite band.

  • wooooooooohooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TIMOTHYSAARINEN Are you kidding me? The Dead brought so much magic with them to each show. Nothing was ever the same. They changed so many people's lives. How could you say there overrated when there barley even on the radio. Trust me, if you really start listening to all of there stuff from 1965-1995 you will not say there boring or overrated at all.

  • One of the most boring, overrated bands of all time.

  • This is thee best live version I think I've heard, Jerry's lead was dynamic, and nibble. Great to see how much fun they were having jaming in sweet harmony. They were all playing on each each other to a real high level.

  • jerry had the wolf out of mothballs for this one....Jerry + Wolf = total domination

  • @wireguy73 I agree, my first show's were in the late 80's (Alpine Valley). It was tough watching Jerry deteriorate into the mid 90's. Those last show's in Chicago were tough. Missing chords, lyrics, and repeating versus.... Strung out....

  • That was about the most interaction I have seen between Garcia and Weir in years especially smiling like that. Great to see the fun they were having. Usually it was Brent that would always bring a smile to Jerry's face.

  • 12.31.87 Oakland Coliseum

  • man they really do have fun
