@unsane only good for about 10-20 hours? I'd think that at those power levels and the amount of time they spend with the hammer down, 20 hours would be a pretty respectable life span.

I watched this very run in person, the offshore power boats came to Savannah to run a course off of Tybee Island, but since there is a ton of spectators on river street it made it an awesome venue to do kilo runs. I watched them race from the beach too but this was way more fun. Imagine eating diner at a restaurant that overlooks a river where boat after boat is running 150-200 mph! Not so long after we also had formula one boats (little tunnel hull boats with giant outboards) come rave here too

So people that race boats are retarded? Speed is measured in miles per hour because thats how many miles you can go in an hour. Not how fast you can race a kilometer.

At 0:38 it rips by a little boat on the left. Those people must have shit themselves and possibly got soaked! Super awsome vid.

This boat is ate up with all kinds of badass

John also drove with Loren with Labbatts ice team out of Palm coast. That was an Appache, and then the CUV. I personally would be using Eikert power myself..
Guess who..?

@BuzzDyou Holy shit dude! Where's my skis???
Is the mystic powered by pistons or by turbines
CRAP876 11 months ago
@CRAP876 No. This was from 03. It's a 36 Skater powered by a pair of 1550hp Sterling V8's. I live where Mystics are built. They are awesome!

Hey unsane what's this about the motors being V12s? Is that right?
dieseldog00 1 year ago
@dieseldog00 Motors are V8's Based off a BB Chevy, they are built by Sterling Racing and make 1550hp each.

Man that thing sounds amazing. What kind of rpm do they run at 200mph?
greenfruitface 2 years ago
I think those engines are peaking out at 6500rpm. Between that and the boost, a Sterling 1550 is probably only good for about 10-20 hours of life before they need a refresh.
