you dont have to wait for the ball to be pitched. if you wanted, you could just start walking to the next base. its a stupid decision, but you could do it. when your taking a lead, you should not be rocking back and forth, your momentum could be going towards first when you leave. your running form sucks and the rubber to the plate is 60'6". but good try.
