Inspired by Adam Sandler's movie "Click", a boy finds out his remote control can do more that operate the TV! He decides to try it out on other things, but ends up in a hellish future world where Terminators roam the streets.
It's kind of like clockstoppers mixed with Terminator mixed with other movies. Some of the actions were based off of various kids movies we'd seen like Home Alone. In the background when Matt is watching TV you can hear a commercial for Cyberdyne Systems, and later, a clip from the original Terminator, which I have only recently become obsessed with.
It also has that song from "Fast Times At Ridgemont High" and some really retarded thing where they are dubbed in with fake spanish and french voices that I did using text-to-speech. The song at the end is by Panic! At the Disco and is called "I Write Sins Not Tragedies." I used it because at the time it was new, not because I'm an emo poser. (I'm not) My brother came up with the name.
I used my capture card to take video footage from my Terminator and T2 DVDs and I did greenscreen effects using a green blanket draped over my dad's car window where the actors sat. Then I combined the footage and tried to stabalize the clip from Terminator so the car wouldn't look too bouncy and jump around alot. It took me almost all week to edit and compress the file small enough to fit on Youtube, which resulted in a tremendous loss in sound quality. But apparently that doesn't matter. So I hope you watched it and enjoyed a film that we had lots of fun making.
