the most beautiful version of danny boy ever. i heard it at the end of the 9/11 ten years later documentary for the firefighters who were lost and it took me forever to find this version but i found it!

Oh how I miss my dad, from County Cork...I'll be 55 tomorrow, the same B-day as he...he woud have been 96. He always told me, there's two kinds of people in the world:those that are Irish, and those that wish they were...I miss you Dad.

This was sung for the firemen, because traditionally and in the beginning of organized firemen, they were Irish. And still, in New York City, many are still Irish.
