I live in Hokkaido(JPN) and I want to visit Sakhalin to see beautiful nature some day. I also met Russian fishermen who gave me Russian soft candies and I was younger and glad at that time!

Sakhalin life in a nutshell...You go "na prirodu" (outdoors) almost every weekend, make a campfire, cook "shashlik", drink some vodka, take pictures, dance, sing, laugh, and have the greatest tim ewith your friends. My heart will always be there, and that's why watching pictures of people that I don't even know and knowing they are from Sakhalin makes me want to cry and miss the island with all my heart.
