  • Nabeel i love your words

  • Farhan Qureshi tried but failed, i think he has begun his doubts on the koran

  • In conclusion both did a good job, but everybody's view in this debate has to be bias, so don't say you aren't. Now I think Farhan did a good job at most of what he did

  • My question to my Muslim brothers is .... What God cannot do! Muslim says nothing is impossible for God because He is almighty Allah .... then my question is for Allah it is difficult to become man. ... ? whats is your answer.....? If you believe Allah....... believe He can do any thing which you think is impossible. For your information God became man in to talk to redeem to save to help to redeem. If you don't believe then it means you don't believe Allah Subhana wa tallah

  • @mawa89g Thanks for the links! I read them and I am still very happy and hopeful for him! It is only a matter of time for him! Because shedding the shackle of Islam is already half the battle and a great improvement! He is a good guy! May God bless him!

  • @ritamalik

You're welcome - that's pretty much the same reaction I had when I read of it ;-) As far as I know, he sadly didn't become a Christian but is an agnostic right now (his reasons for leaving Islam are "inner-Islamic).

I'll PM you the link for his declaration of leaving Islam, it's very interesting to read.

  • @mawa89g REALLY!!!!??? Praise God!!! Is he a Christian now or did he become an atheist? I hope he has accepted Jesus Christ and become saved, but even if not yet I think if a person has enough integrity to realize the fallacies of his own arguments and is so honest to reject them sooner or later will come to The Truth which is none other than Jesus Christ. So please let me know what is the state of his beliefs now. Thank you very much mawa89g

Well, if you don't follow the Quran "blindly", you simply are no Muslim imo. That the Quran is the literal, eternal, perfect word of Allah is one of the most important beliefs in Islam.

I read what Farhan Qureshi, the Muslim apologist here, wrote about his reasons for leaving Islam; he wrote that one of his main reasons for his apostasy was that he realized that according to Islamic law, he would have to be killed for thinking "outside" the Quran/doubting Islam.

  • @ritamalik

That debate isn't up to date for Farhan's views, he left Islam.

  • Doesn't Farhan think that if the Quranic view of Jesus was true we should have found SOME historical evidence pointing to it? If the early Christians thought Jesus to be only a man then there should have been some first century writings, some sects, some secular historical evidence, something of that nature left behind. Paul could not have singlehandedly erased every shred of evidence to it. he had no such power! But the more historians look the less they find any such evidence!
