  • Next time you interview people make it impartial instead of getting dropouts on Tedeschi's stoop, compared to Derby Street shops. Distasteful reporting.

No truth in the news and no news in the truth.

  • This article is appalling. The reporter, herself from Rockland, should take a step back and look at this. Do you really think that those drop-outs in front of Tedeschi's give two shits about what happens to Rockland, or how we're perceived? As a graduate of RHS, with honor roll grades, at college with a 3.65 GPA, how about you interview me and Rockland-ites like me who care about our town and reputation?

Ridiculous, inaccurate, nauseating, and downright disrespectful. Shame on you.

  • I live in Hingham and know most of the girls that were sitting on the bench and yah the reporter did a poor job with the whole set up, but I just want to say that people from Hingham may seem like we are all like that, and ya know what, some of us are, but not all of us. Most of us are there for the school system, oppurtunity, location, sports, and not for the money and other materialistic things like that. I think that its kinda stupid like how everyone catergorizes everything. just get along.

  • Whoever said Hanover is like Rockland is blind! Rockland is pretty much a dump. Hanover is nice except for Route 53.

  • @PhelipeRapz Please don't put Rockland and Hanover in the same category! They are worlds apart!

  • That Hingham chick is crazy. I know plenty of people in Hingham who have a Boston accent!

  • I would say the wealth goes in this order on the South Shore - Cohasset, Hingham, Duxbury, Norwell, Scituate, Hanover, Marshfield, Braintree, Quincy, Pembroke, Weymouth and then Rockland. It's reality. Accept it and move on.

  • Wow,this is awful,I live in rockland and although we may not have like tons of money but we aren't all druggies and potheads hanging at the side of tedeschis.mostly everyone plays a sport, and everyone who does is petty good at it too.this Alison girl better learn how to report because this gave my town a bad name.when it's just as good as snotty hingham.

  • ohkk, i live in rockland& its not even as bad as people make it seem. no, we don't have a lot of money, but we make the most of what we got. if your gonna interview people, make it fair. not everyone in rockland, dresses like that or smokes. im pretty sure people in hingham& all the others towns do the same as us.

  • sorry to see all of the sour grapes on here. Fact is Rockland is kind of dumpy. Just accept that is true and get over it.

  • Wow... WTF?!? People you interview for Rockland: Some teenagers smoking behind Tedeschi's >:( People you interview for Hingham: Some girls sitting on a bench outside the high-end Derby Street shops... It's obvios that whoever was doing these interviews wanted to make Rockland look like a bad town... Rockland is a great town with great sports teams and hard-working people. Not to say that Hingham is bad... It's just that you should'nt have interviewed the kids who you chose to for Rockland.

  • hahah norwell kids who smoke pot and live in the woods sucj a bad generalization sorry but were not like that at all yeah we have a couple of farms........sick
