Derek and Casey have been going out, but Casey cheats on Derek with Sam. The plot is pretty easy to see throughout the video. It corrolates with the lyrics and he's usually either talking to them, or watching them. (Watching them cheat or telling them to stop going behind his back). He breaks up with Casey at the end, and she realizes that even though he was a jerk sometimes he was a good person and she may never get him again.
I think it's a nice twist instead of Derek being portrayed as the cheater (Even though it is more likely for him to do it than Casey)
I don't own Life with Derek or the song being used.
