A quick review of the SW99 9mm pistol which I've owned since 2001 and have absolutely loved. The model is also available in a .40.

My apologies that this review is a little more on the serious side. It just kind of... happened, ya know?

  • This may sound stupid, but this is labeled as shooting 9x19 Parabellum, does it still shoot regular 9mm cartridges?

  • @asbskywalker The 9x19 Parabellum (also commonly called 9mm Luger) is the most common 9mm -- so I guess you could say it's "regular 9mm." Typically, if someone says "9mm" they are talking about this cartridge unless otherwise specified. I've actually never heard anybody refer to any other 9mm cartridge (.380, .357) as 9mm in general conversation. But anyway, long answer short: yes.

  • @stuthewise Thanks! Sorry, if I sounded stupid. I really appreciate the info! Great vid by the way!

  • @asbskywalker Absolutely! And I don't consider any question to be stupid. For me, there is a difference between stupidity and not knowing. I've found that the more I learn, the more I realize how little I know. And sometimes the only way to find an answer is to ask.

  • how much was it??

  • @shadeshiest22 Sticker price was somewhere around $615 if I remember right. That was back in 2001.
