So you filled the garden - what's it like when your in a pub / village hall etc? Is it too much ? Also if the ceiling is really high doesn't it all just disspaear up into the rafters?

Well, depends on how much you use it. You could fill up a pub or village hall with a 400w smoke machine if you held it on constantly.
I just got a big one so i had the capability of doing larger venues.
The vertical smoke can be a problem in some venues due to fire alarms e.t.c so it's certainly worth keeping that in mind but if you only use it in short bursts then you won't really have too much trouble.
its not hard to make a little scoop or nozzle for it either to make it go forwards.
