I saw them (JMarr&Healers)... in a Buffalo NY club, touring to promote Boomslang. I'm 53 yrs old and a huge music fan of all genres (except c&w)....and I must say that in the hundreds of show's I've seen dating back to 1971....this was definitely in my top 25! Zach Starkey played drums on that particular leg of the tour.....I was a Smiths fan sort of...I reflect on the eighties as being the worst musical period in my lifetime.....therefore I never focused on just how talented Marr really was!

Johnny Marr is a true legend and pioneer in his craft. He is a real master at less is more in his aproach to guitar playing. No flashy virtuoso playing. He has never been a "look at me" type player. Just lends his beautiful melodic style to the song. He never plays a Million notes looking for the right one. He knows exactly where to find the right groove on the fretboard. If I had to some Johnny Marr up in one word I'd say INSPIRATIONAL.

Johnny Marr is a legend. everything he's ever done is ace. Great guitarists, great songwriter and a great guy.

@HerrHorst303 Can you PLEASE tell me about it. I LOVE Johnny Marr. BTW, for all you nay sayers, he can play, do, and wear whatever he feels like. It doesn't define him. How many of you know he played the guitar on Inception, yes, the movie, with Hans Zimmer. Fucking BAD ASS.
