My favourite lines are:

"You always say your name, like I wouldn't know it's you..."

and

"I know you're closed-eye watching me".

The first, because I find it really sweet, that the other person still doesn't take it for granted, still doesn't realise how much they mean to him. And the second, because it's just really beautiful phrasing and is something I recognise but haven't been able to put into words before..

"Up" is actually my favourite R.E.M. album, it's great and very under-rated :D

Agree, extremely under-rated. Every time I listen it's like finding an old box full of hald remebered treasures, each different, in colour, texture, memory, sound, the odd surprise, still. Just different!
