here is a idea i was thinking on, basically water is pumped up in the pipes, goes into mid-air bucket as its filling up it pushes air out of a 1 way air valve and then the auto syphon which is in the mid air bucket is activated releasing water down in to the main fish tank.

basically if it works you can remove the pump

please leave comments, yes i know its a bit crap video, its my first one!

giv thumbs up if u like it

  • I like the idea behind what you are going to do. I have had the same thought going through my head today. I have an idea on how to do it i just need to put it to the test. Did you build it? How did it go?

  • @RobbieHogg1

i never got round to building it as i have fallen ill

but pls if u build it link to my vid so i can ur video

(as a reply to my vid)

  • How do you plan on getting the water to the to horizontal pipe, without a pump?

  • @tphroc u use a pump to fill the pipes up an get the syphon goin the take pump off

  • all the pipes are meant to be connected together so its air tight except the one above the main water tank (big one) this pipe will be about 500mm above the water tank

  • You end up having equilibrium. Dont waste you money and time. build wind mill or solarpanel and you may have some return.

  • i think it would eventually slow and level at the top of the mid air tank. however, it may save some energy by allowing the use of a smaller pump half way up the little pipe. i know it appears by making the pipe smaller it would raise the pressure in that pipe to make the horizontal pipe by the sacrifice in volume would evntually weaken the syphon. if you have built it does it work and for how long? if you live by a stream you might use stream power and a water wheel to pump the water. good luck

  • Not sure really, lets see a full scale working model. Thanks for sharing though.

  • Sorry to say it just isn't going to work. There is no such thing as perpetual motion. you have to take into account things like friction within the pipe work and gravity. This will slow the flow of water down and energy needs to be added into the system just to overcome this. Look at it on a really basic level. If I was to get a length of tube, make it into a closed loop and part fill it with water, the water will not keep on moving around the loop without me adding energy into the system.

  • If you are interested to know more about perpetual motion magnetic generator then do as follows-----

Just goto Google, search for "Top Magnetic Generator" ...

  • You cant delete the laws of physics...

  • perpetual motion implies you are getting energy from nowhere, it will not work.

  • @KC08RAS I had a go & the first run did not work. I will modify what my first idea was & try again.

  • @KC08RAS

Will do. Hope you get well.
