@clearedtoengage That's why I said that /you/ need to consider that you'd be in front of all those fans. He and Bush's ability to speak in front of crowds is already put into the equation. Why has he never been on a pitching mound? That "ritual" is as much metaphorical is as it is practical, I'm just as many kids play hockey with their parents. And what does that have to do with any point you were trying to make anyway?

@clearedtoengage opposite is true, as most are terrible at throwing any object, much less a ball-shaped one. This is evidenced by the many infamous first pitch videos on youtube. Even the other professional sports athletes are terrible at it, and I'd say they are above average Americans. "I can throw a better first pitch than Obama." I don't know what your point is, but you also must consider you'd be in front of 40,000 fans. Well.. it's a Nat's game, so more like 7,000 hahaha.
