  • These idiot fans are partly to blame for the series dying. They had to know who killed Laura, begged for it, and when they got it, what more was there to tell. Granted, D Lynch and M Frost were busy on other projects...idiototic audience! Primetime sucks balls as well!

  • After 7 episodes these f**king people REALLY had to know? The show was just - getting - started. And a show this good comes along one in a lifetime. Morons. I agree with Lcacique.

    Lynch is my hero. :)

  • In fairness to the original mainstream "impatient" fans, Frost & Lynch are to blame because the subplots they build around the Laura Palmer mystery were not strong enough to stand on their own. Has there been a stronger love stories (like Audrey-Cooper affair), I think the audience would have been slowly been drawn away from "who killed Laura" as the main attraction of the show. Instead, the murder mystery became the main reason tuned in.

  • I actually never thought the killer would be shown and was surprised at the big showing... But the show is not based on the killer is it? It is an art show and is meant to be enjoyed not analyzed... As Lynch says, it's philosophy kills the mystery of life... TV shows a perfect world but only the quirky ones show the real world and the mysteries it contains.....

  • Im 14 years old and a couple months ago knew nothing of twin peaks... I just finished watching the killing and read in the comments how everyone thought it was exactly like twin peaks without the quirks... I searched it on Netflix and fell in love the moment I saw Agent Cooper tell the population to Diane... Seeing this makes me sad that nobody watches or talks of this and that it is an unknown... It's like seeing William shatner play in investment commercials... Sad.. They need to revamp the s

  • *sigh* What was so hard to get about the concept of this show? This wasn't Hunter, or Matlock, or Law & Order, it's immediately clear from the fucking beginning that the murder of Laura Palmer wasn't supposed to be solved RIGHT AWAY AND THEN WE MOVE ON TO KEEP DOING ONE-EPISODE MURDER MYSTERIES UNTIL EVERYBODY IN TWIN PEAKS IS FLAT-ASS DEAD WTF?!! THE LP MYSTERY WAS SUPPOSED TO LAST UNTIL THE END OF THE SHOW WHICH SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER 2 SEASONS!! ...damn. *sniff*

  • I think they answer their own question when the reporter uses The Fugitive as an example and how we "the audience" held on for 9 seasons to find out who murdered Dr. Kimble's wife. NINE SEASONS!!!! America wanted answers about Laura Palmer after only 1 season. Impatient, spoon-fed audiences and weak-kneed studio execs destroyed this landmark show.

  • *Cooper gets shot*

    they're all screaming: NOOOOO!!! O.o

    .....exactly my reaction.

  • Twin Peaks is the Bret Hart of Prime Time TV. Best there is, best there was, and best there ever will be

  • wow, the audience come off as rather stupid. And vapid.

  • @acdecoy it was 1990 and they didn't have HD yet.

  • Thank god ABC learned their lesson from this show and didn't make too many of the same mistakes with LOST. Both fantastic shows.
