This is the rare original LP version of Waves by Blancmange from the album Happy Families. As Blancmange have made a new album recently there is a renewed interest, and this track so far as i know is still unavailable on cd. Anyway, hope you enjoy! - uploaded via http://www.mp32u.net/

I have the oz 12" and it is not a long remix version. See Discogs listing which is correct.

WOW! I always liked this version a lot better than the single remix.
It's still one of my favourite tracks from Blancmange. There is an extended remix which was only released in Australia as a 12". I would love to have a listen.

You must be right... My older brother bought Happy Families on vinyl back in the day, and it didn't have this version. Thanks for posting...

if anyone has this on vinyl pls can they let me know the matrix numbers on the run-out groove, ty. only the original pressings of happy families had this version on, subsequent pressings replaced the original version with the remix which had a stronger string section.
