On his noble quest for the Fire Element Link must endure a trial by fire in the Cave of Flames (Haha). Our poor hero is flung around by mine carts, tossed in the air by whirlwinds, stabbed by needles and doused in lava, but the good people of the Cave of Flames are kind enough to compensate Link for his troubles... With a stick.

Uh...you missed a chest back at the bottom-right-most area of the room you're in. You have to use the whirlwind to hop up onto the cliff...thing, and when you hop down you can use the cane to get back up onto the whirlwind there.
