This is a follow up to the video showing the IR Paint Remover. Here you will see the paint remover in action on a project I started last Summer. This whole south facing wall of the house was peeling and cracking like mad. I'm now putting it right.

  • @kennethwdc The whole length of that section was just over 24 ft from the corner out to the left hand edge. The section in between the windows was just about 16 ft.

  • @kennethwdc do a Google search on Ocean Manor house Infrared paint stripper. That should get you to the page where the whole process is documented. I copied that one very closely even down to the power switch and fuse. As far as stripping goes one row between the windows was probably about 1.5 hours as I would cut the top edge and bottom edge, scrape it pretty clean then go back and scrape the 'field' of each row last which would go very quickly. In the video I wasn't using that technique.

  • To help me gauge how long it would take to strip a whole house, how long did it take to remove paint on one row between the two windows? Also how did you make the infrared paint remover?

  • @ilovemysoaktub, and so do you! I love watching your piano performances on YouTube.

  • You rock!
