Brandon Sam Bass (born April 30, 1985 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Dallas Mavericks of the NBA. He spent his first 2 seasons with the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets.

A 6'8", 240 lb (110 kg). power forward from LSU, Bass was selected by the Hornets in the 2nd round (33rd overall) of the 2005 NBA Draft. He originally declared for the draft after his freshman season in 2004 but ultimately withdrew his name[1] and returned to college. In 2005 he again declared for the draft after his sophomore season at LSU, where he was named the 2005 SEC Player of the Year. He is also a victims' rights advocate in New Orleans and frequently prepares vegetarian dishes. Bass prepped at Capitol High School in Baton Rouge where he was one of the most sought-after recruits in the country his senior year.

On July 26, 2007, Bass agreed to sign with the Dallas Mavericks, but terms of the deal were not disclosed.[2] He is signed through the 2008-09 season with a $1.59 million contract

Awesome video. It sucks so bad that he's gone. All the mavs ever talk about is how no one goes to the rim but they just let the only guy who ever did that go. Sometimes I think I would be a better gm than these shit heads. He was the only reason I would watch the mavericks now it's just a bunch of jumpshooting retards, and the guy that gets in the paint the most is jose juan berea or jj.
