  • I live in Houston & I gotta say this city SUCKS at partying! No raves, nothing but sports bars & lounges with a few gay clubs.New years always sucks too. Please no more Super Bowls, the traffic was hell on top of the hell we already have! The footage proves how boring this city is.Viva Las Vegas!

  • AGREED, but on the plus side, we do fireworks like crazy. Or used to. Didya see the Power Up shows? Check out my vids of those.

Another good example of Houston sucking at real life is, the "main event", when they open up two whole blocks of half-arsed clubs, and run the rail as late as 1O pm! Daring!! Mayberry had a more lively downtown.

  • Man, did yall even go down main street that weekend. It was packed at night. This video wasnt where the bars were.

  • When I first moved here, ppl told me to go out and have fun. Every time I went out, I came back home dissapointed. I guess Houston just isn't the place for me. When the weather is sunny, looks pretty nice though.

  • I have to agree with you guys on Houston sucks on the nightlife..I'm originally from California and moved here from Las Vegas. Houston isn't necessarily a bad place, but it's not cutting edge on 'fun' either.

  • Definitely down with Viva Las Vegas, New Orleans (Bourbon St), Miami Beach, LA, NYC!!!!

  • And ever notice how whenever there is a big event here (which we hardly get) the weather seems to be horrible? i.e. rain or sudden freeze. Alot of times celebs who are scheduled to make an appearance don't show up. Why bother with having a railway that runs approx 25-40mph on ground in a city that floods and only thru downtown and med center...

  • I'm a resident of Houston and I also agree with both above comments.. During Superbowl some clubs would still close by 2am. The best spot to see a celeb was at the Galleria and that would get shutdown often. Downtown is still wack! There is more police hanging around there then party-goers. The few after-hour spots are pathetic. You can't buy a drink after 2am, you definitely can't chill and walk the streets with your drink in hand like in New Orleans.
